The University of California Santa Barbara is offering their vast collection of early (1898-1929) recordings on wax cylinders. Over 5,000 recordings, many downloadable, are available in a searchable database. The recordings include early blues and ragtime, vaudeville and minstrel show, spoken word, and more. This is a fascinating window into a lost era.
