Can You Prove That It Didn't Happen?

Some prefer the cut-and-paste surrealism of Glen or Glenda? Others lean towards Bride of the Monster, the bargain basement homage to the Universal Studios horror films of the 30s. But true connoisseurs of Ed D. Wood's Oeuvre know that the master's defining work is Plan 9 From Outer Space.


Plan 9 contains Wood's best writing. Consider the opening lines, spoken by TV Psychic Criswell:


My friends, we are all interested in the future, because that is where we are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember, future events like these will affect you in the future.
