Yep, me and the wife (plus assorted friends) are off to Peru. The country, not the town in Indiana. I'm hoping to bring back some cool recordings and one of them knitted caps with the ear flaps.
We're spending three days in the jungle, and if we're lucky we'll meet some actual Jivaro tribespeople. I intend to live with them and learn their simple ways. Until then, I'll have to content myself with Yma Sumac's song of the same name. See ya next year!
