Veteran chain smoking newsman/talk show host Tom Snyder died yesterday at age 71. Tom had a late-night show in the early 80s called "The Tomorrow Show." Being a night owl in the pre-vcr age I regularly stayed up to watch Tom interview all manner of oddballs. One memorable show featured "Can't Stop The Music" producer Alan Carr and John Lydon (nee Johnny Rotten) and Keith Levene of Public Image Ltd. Here's part one of the interview:
